Ancient Assyrian Stele from Nineveh, Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East

You've just arrived from a long journey to the palace in Nineveh, in ancient Assyria, 2,600 years ago. As you wait to see the ruler Ashurbanipal, the palace overseer tells you the stories of the empire through animated stele on the walls.

You can view the animations and story in the 3d scan at home, and if you visit the museum, you can bring the stele to life with a Snapchat lens.
